About the Academy
The USDS Academy runs structured training in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital governance for working professionals and for teams inside organisations. The material comes out of engagement work rather than a textbook: the assessments we run, the controls we implement and the incidents we help clients recover from.
Courses are practitioner-led and delivered remotely in cohorts, which keeps group sizes small enough for discussion and hands-on exercises. Sessions are scheduled to be workable alongside a full-time role, and every course ends with an applied piece of work rather than a multiple-choice exam.
Who it is for
Engineers and analysts who need to work to a compliance framework and have never been shown how one actually operates. IT staff asked to own security for an organisation without a dedicated security team. Managers who have to scope, budget for and evaluate this work without being the specialist in the room.
We also run cohorts privately for organisations, built around the frameworks and systems that team already works with — typically where several people need the same grounding and a generic public course would not cover the environment they operate in.

There is no automated checkout — we would rather confirm a course is right for you before taking payment.
Cohorts are capped, so places for a given intake can close before the start date. If a course you want is not currently scheduled, register anyway and we will let you know when it next runs.
